GY Marine Services LLC., a subsidiary of Gulf Yachts announced its partnership with the German outboard manufacturer, Neander Motors, becoming the exclusive distributor of the Dtorque 50 engine in the GCC countries, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Neander is a cutting-edge outboard engine developer and manufacturer. Using state-of-the-art software and processes, it developed the Dtorque 50, the world's only 50hp Diesel Outboard. Made by marine professionals, for marine professionals, the Dtorque's double crankshaft has been a success, both in terms of reliability and efficiency since it went into serial production back in 2018.

Neander's Managing Director, Joel Reid, comments,

Neander Motors designed and manufactured the world's first serial production diesel outboard with a dual crankshaft, the Dtorque Turbo Diesel Outboard Engine. The Dtorque 50 engine offers service intervals of 250 hours versus the 100 hours on an equivalent gasoline outboard, with greater power delivery at lower RPM. The reliable engine uses 40% less fuel compared to similar fuel engines, and it is a low-emissions outboard engine in compliance with EU RDC Stage II regulations.

GY Marine will be exhibiting Neander's Dtorque 50 at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi from 31st October - 3rd November and the Abu Dhabi Boat Show from 24th - 27th November.
